Last week, Timberland reported solid fiscal second quarter profits of $1.6
million after a $700,000 addition to its loan loss reserves as a result of
continued loan growth and the reclassification of certain loans. In the
second quarter of fiscal 2008, Timberland earned $1.6 million, or $0.24 per
diluted share, compared to $1.9 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, in the
second quarter one year ago.
